Mute Math, As Tall As Lions Close Out Tour in New York

"We're glad we could end the tour in New York," Mute Math frontman Paul Meany said Friday night at Nokia Theatre.

"My pants are ripped," he then admitted to the crowd. "You did it, so you have to look at it."

Meany's energetic and vocally-stimulating show is probably what he's best known for - second to his contributions to 2008's Twilight, of which he composed original music.

On the tour with MM were the fiercely talented As Tall As Lions, whose breakthrough performances of the night were "Sixes and Sevens" and "Ghost of York."

"It's a very bittersweet ending," said singer Dan Nigro, of the final night.

No, the tour can't last forever, but here at Poison Ivy, we love to preserve its memories! Check out part one of Mute Math's "Burden" above, As Tall As Lions "Ghost of York" below, and the trippy part two of "Burden," below.

Holy synthesizer!
