Three Idol Finalists Selected
And then there were three!Three American Idol finalists were selected by viewers last night, making Alexis Grace, Danny Gokey and Michael Sarver (pictured) three of your Top 12!!!
The remaining 24 will soon dwindle down to 6, making the total nine.
And a final wildcard round March 5 will bring three contestants back into the mix to round out the Top 12.
Says Idol executive producer Ken Warwick, "The judges can add (contestants) to the wildcard round. Anybody they like that they thought was better and just off form. Maybe they picked the wrong song. The judges will also decide who the final three will be."
That's certainly a departure from prior seasons!!
Props to Idol for switching up the formula!

Having borrowed a chapter from the book of Bono, Welsh popstress Duffy cakes it on for the 2009 Brit Awards Wednesday.Whatever she did, it worked!
The singer took home three trophies for Best British Album, British Breakthrough Act and Best British Female.
