It was a sad but slightly predictable night on American Idol Wednesday, as Milwaukee church music teacher Danny Gokey got the ax, leaving heartthrobs Kris Allen and Adam Lambert to duke it out during the two-night finale next week.
Katy Perry made her preference painfully obvious during a performance of "Waking Up in Vegas" that featured an Elvis costume and cape with an "Adam Lambert" insignia.
Poison Ivy took our eyes off a drunken Fergie for a minute Tuesday night to catch up with Real Housewife of New YorkAlex McCord at the Robin Hood benefit in New York!! While McCord was hesitant to dish about an impending season three of Housewives, she did give us a pretty decent indication of her current relationship with the other five women.
PI: Are any of the other Housewives here tonight at the benefit? AM: No. Absolutely not.
"NBC asked [Simon and I] to be somewhere else tonight, but we said no," McCord continued. "[Robin Hood] is where we chose to be." Way to bring out the claws!!
Poison Ivy visited the Javits Center Tuesday night in New York for a Robin Hood benefit that featured guests like Oprah Winfrey and Jon Stewart, but it was Black Eyed Pea Fergie that kept our attention throughout the evening!!!
The Peas performed a highly energetic 30-minute set (including jams like "My Humps," "Pump It" and "Boom Boom Pow"), but for some reason, Fergie Ferg kept doing some weird stuff during the performance!!!
First, she kept walking to the back of the stage and turning her back on the audience mid-show. Then, after a failed attempt at dancing, Fergie grabbed onto bandmate Will.i.am for support!!! Weirdest of all was when Fergie walked over to a stage light and started laughing and playing with it in the middle of the performance!!!
We're not 100% sure, but there's a strong possibility Fergie took something to ease her nerves before the show!!

Tori Amos hit London's Savoy Theater Monday night to rock music from her twenty year catalog, as well as jams from her latest record Abnormally Attracted to Sin.
Said Amos:
"The record is asking all kinds of questions about power - how do we define it? Because if it’s with money then we’re all in trouble. And what is success? What are we attracted to? Because it kind of needs to change.”
"I said I'm not coming back. You fooled me once but you can't have that ego turning… Cause you had a good girl, good girl, girl. That's a keeper. You had a good girl, good girl but didn't know how to treat her… So silly boy get out my face. Why do you like the way regrets taste?"
-Rihanna sings (to Chris Brown?) in her latest, Lady GaGa-featured song "Silly Boy." (Thanks for posting, Kanye!)
Especially when the latest exhibit to debut at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex NYC is titled John Lennon: The New York City Years.
The former Beatle's wife, Yoko Ono, along with rock writer Jim Henke, unveiled the exhibit Monday, which displays everything from Lennon's letters of anti-war activism to items he considered relevant to his love for New York, to a billboard which displays Lennon's blood-stained glasses from his death.
"John was in love with this city, head over heels," Yoko Ono said during the unveiling.
"[And] it's very important now for people to understand what violence is about."
The New York City Years will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11A to 10P, and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
Blondie, Pat Benatar and special guest The Donnas will be headlining a U.S. tour this summer, kicking off in Saratoga, California July 21 and closing out in Houston August 23!
“Pat Benatar is not only a friend, but a fearless female rocker who has entertained me and her wealth of fans for so many years," Blondie singer Deborah Harry says.
"This will be a reunion for us both, and being able to bring our two shows to fans across the country is very exciting.”
In case you missed The Killers' fantastic performance of "A Dustland Fairytale" on the Late Show with David Letterman last night (the Las Vegas foursome brought out an entire orchestra), Poison Ivy has you covered!
"She arrived without an instruction manual. I didn't know if she had a sleep schedule, food allergies – there wasn't even a note pinned to her shirt. She just walked in and looked up at me, like 'got lunch?'"
Barack and Michelle Obama hosted the annual White House Correspondents Dinner Saturday night in Washington, D.C., and got by with the help of some very famous friends!!!
Wanda Sykes, Sting, Trudie Styler, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Chace Crawford, Matthew Settle and Samuel L. Jackson (pictured), Barbara Walters, Alicia Keys, Steven Speilberg, Ed Westwick, The McCains, The Palins, The Nixons, Tyra Banks and Kevin Bacon were just a handful of names that came out to celebrate the Obamas first Correspondents Dinner!
Check out our favorite photos from the night, above.
I know we're not supposed to expect much from Amy Winehouse these days, but I was kind of hoping her comeback concert (at the St. Lucia Jazz Festival Friday) would have turned out semi-decent!!
False hope!!!
Check out the above footage above to see Amy's disastrous gig, where she forgets lyrics, stumbles around the stage, and otherwise acts generally unpleasant!
