We have to admit - there were a lot unexpected faces at New York Fashion Week!!!

We already told you about our Mickey Rourke sighting at Max Azria, but who else was a curveball at the biggest fashion event of the year??

Here are photos from just a few people Poison Ivy didn't expect to see but did: Kara Dioguardi, Joan Rivers, Ron Jeremy and Ivana Trump!!

Ok, ok, Joan Rivers isn't that unusual at Fashion Week...

But we had to show you how unusual her face looks!

Max Azria is one of the most legendary names in fashion.

We know Azria best for creating international brand BCBG - a.k.a. where Poison Ivy bought every homecoming/prom/bat-mitzvah dress ever!

So when we were invited to hang out backstage at his New York Fashion Week show, you know we flipped out!!

I guess we weren't alone in our excitement, because tons of celebs showed up too, including Mickey Rourke (WTF), Lucy Liu, Leigh Lezark, Tinsley Mortimer and Today Show ladies Kathy Lee Giffard and Hoda Kotb!

We had so much fun at the Badgley Mischka show Tuesday morning, we decided to stick around for Brian Reyes!!

Here we spotted Rachel Bilson, Ugly Betty star Becki Newton, and The City's Olivia Palermo (in a fierce pantsuit)!

The fashions in the show were kinda bland for us, but judge it for yourselves in our video, below!

If there's one show at New York Fashion Week you must see, make it Badgley Mischka!!!

Poison Ivy had a chance to go backstage before the fantastic runway show Tuesday morning, and spotted everyone from Kim Kardashian to Fran Drescher to The City's Erin Lucas to Kelly Rowland!!!

We also had a chance to chat with Real Housewife of New York Bethenny Frankel, who was covering the show for Access Hollywood.

"I made four fashion paux pas," Frankel said, when we asked how her interviewing skills were working out. "I sat in a celebrity's seat, I took clothes off the rack... Oy. Let's see if they invite me back."

Patrick Swayze was pronounced dead Monday after a well-publicized battle with pancreatic cancer.

"Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months," his publicist said in a statement.

The actor, best known for his roles in Ghost, Dirty Dancing, and recent TV series The Beast, is succeeded by wife Lisa Niemi, his mother, two brothers and sister.

It wasn't easy to concentrate on the groundbreaking performances at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night. We found ourselves either celebrating the life of Michael Jackson or wanting to beat the daylights out of Kanye West.

But, let's get back to the music, shall we?

In case you missed it, here are Poison Ivy's top two performances of the evening: a manic, blood-infused version of "Paparazzi" by Lady Gaga, and an acrobatic, nail-biting rendition of "Sober" by Pink.

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards began with a bang: a very poignant bang that included a monologue by Madonna about the legacy of Michael Jackson.

"Michael Jackson was a human being, but he was a king," Madonna said, during her closing lines. "Long live the king."

Those sentiments were echoed throughout the night, and specifically a few minutes later, when sister Janet Jackson emerged with her own dance crew for a high-energy performance of "Scream" that synced with the music video of MJ dancing behind her.

The night also ended with Jackson in mind, as MTV left us with a two-minute preview for his "This is It" concert film, composed of footage from the tour that never happened.

Beyonce appeared horrified as the camera panned to her after West's outburst, and she later called Swift onstage during her Video of the Year acceptance to give her the moment she deserved.

"I remember being 17-years-old, up for my first MTV award with Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments of my life," Beyonce said. "So I would like for Taylor to come out and have her moment."

Ted Danson, Jason Schwartzman and Jonathan Ames get playful during the premiere of HBO's new show Bored to Death at the Clearview Chelsea Cinemas Thursday night in New York.

The show is about a writer (Schwartzman) who becomes a private detective and then chronicles his clients lives into his work! The story is loosely based on show creator Jonathan Ames' experiences, with Danson playing Schwartman's magazine editor and Zach Galifianakis jumping into the mix as his friend.
