Kim Zolciak Storms NYC with "Tardy for the Party" Performance

"There's a bitch with a wig here," said Bravo TV host and SVP of Programming Andy Cohen, seconds before Real Housewife of Atlanta Kim Zolciak got onstage at NYC gay club Splash Thursday night.

"I'm living my dream," Zolciak told the audience, then dancing her way through not one but two! performances of "Tardy for the Party."

Zolciak was a bit tardy for the party herself - she told fans via her Twitter that she'd be performing at midnight but didn't hit the stage until 1:30 a.m.

When she finally did perform, it was so well-received that the crowd was chanting "One more time!" and "Fuck NeNe!"

LOLZ!

"I'll do it one more time. Fuck it," Zolciak said.

Check out a video of the the Housewife's second performance of "Tardy" below, and let us know if you think Kim was worth the wait!!

Lady GaGa Performs at Vevo Launch

On Tuesday night, YouTube and Universal Music Group visited New York's Skylight Studio to celebrate the launch of lovechild Vevo, a high-quality music video streaming site that Universal, EMI and Sony have tapped into.

And what celebration would be complete without a leg-on-the-piano performance by Lady GaGa??

GaGa performed, drink in hand, for the A-list crowd, which included folks like Bono, Pete Wentz, John Mayer, Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon, Tommy Mottola, Taylor Swift, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, Justin Timberlake, Gavin DeGraw, Shania Twain, Clive Davis, L.A. Reid, Sheryl Crow, Adam Lambert and Justin Bieber!

Not a bad turn-out!!

The Resurgence of The Click Five

You may remember The Click Five best from their 2005 invasion of MTV with power pop hits "Catch Your Wave" and "Just The Girl," but the band has come a long way in four years.

In 2006, The Click Five replaced lead singer Eric Dill with Kyle Patrick (pictured left), started playing nightly residencies at clubs in New York, Philadelphia and hometown Boston, and independently produced a record that's set to come out in early 2010.

"It's more rock & roll than the last album," Patrick tells Poison Ivy, after the band's powerhouse set at New York's Bowery Electric Wednesday night.

"It sounds kind of timeless in a way," adds bassist Ethan Mentzer, noting that the record was recorded almost a year ago.

"We're not afraid to put it out a year later," he tells me. "We don't think it's dated."

Along with the club circuit, the boys have played some pretty significant gigs in the last year, including the first international rock concert at the ancient temple of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia back in December, and a show for 50,000 people at Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh, Cambodia as a part of MTV EXIT, an organization which raises awareness about human trafficking.

"We met a woman named Somaly Mam, who's kind of this unsung hero," says keyboardist Ben Romans, of the human rights advocate. "It's a pretty cool thing that [MTV] is doing."

The band cites everyone from Elvis Costello to the Rolling Stones to "bands that stay relevant" as their influences, but admit they'd have a broad roster if they could plan the ultimate festival.

"We would be on the bill, but we would be opening," Mentzer laughs, placing U2, Paul McCartney and The Killers on the lineup.

"We'd have our friends' bands play, too," Romans adds, citing Brooklyn-based Atomictom.

"We'd also make sure Electric Light Orchestra got back together to play, and Paul Stanley would do stage banter," Roman says.

Check out a short clip of The Click Five performing new song "Gotta Give It To Me" at their NYC show, below.

Dionne Warwick Performs Classics at Madison Square Boys & Girls Club Gala

Friday was a huge night for the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club!

The 125-year-old organization held their 43rd Annual Christmas Tree Ball at Cipriani on 42nd Street, and got by with the help of their immensely-talented, multi-platinum selling friend, Dionne Warwick!

Warwick played four classic songs for the crowd, which included everyone from Madison Square Executive Director Joe Patuleia to iconic pop artist Peter Max, who donated several paintings for auction. Members of the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club formed the Columbus Clubhouse Dancers and danced in the background!

Check out two of our favorite performances of the night, "Say A Little Prayer," above, and "That's What Friends Are For," below.
