Badgley Mischka Show Versatility, Talk End of Bryant Park at Fashion Week Show

"It's sad to say goodbye to Bryant Park," says Mark Badgley, one-half of the brains behind fashion powerhouse Badgely Mischka. Badgley is talking to a reporter backstage before the start of his New York Fashion Week show Tuesday morning - and the topic of the event moving to Lincoln Center after 17 years of being tented at Bryant Park is imminent.

"We have an apartment that overlooks Bryant Park, we have an office in Bryant Park," Badgley elaborates.

"But the beat goes on," he finally concludes.

Undoubtedly.

BM's collection, divided into two parts, showcased a high-end selection of gowns we've come to know the designers for in the first half, along with a more economical, youthful collection from 2009's "Mark and James" line in the second.

A nude chiffon nebula dress stole our hearts during round one, while a jet wool coat, smoke printed sequin skirt and ash herringbone tweed dress caught our eye in the second.

We also loved the shoes (a dazzling, jet black affair by BM), the set (a mirrored Badgley Mischka backdrop adorned the room for the second half) and the guests. Real Housewife of New York Kelly Bensimon sat in on the show on the opposite side of the room from a very pregnant Bethenny Frankel, while other New Yorkers included The City's Creative Director of Elle magazine Joe Zee and Erin Lucas, and Mad Men's Christina Hendricks.

Check out an exclusive video of the runway show below, and let us know what you think.
