Sting Recruits Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for Today Show Concert

We must say, we were surprised at how flawlessly Sting performed on the morning following his infamous, raging Rainforest Benefit!!

The 58-year-old rock maven kicked off NBC's Today Show concert series around 8:30 Friday morning - entertaining the early crowd with a four-song performance that included "Roxanne," "Next to You," "Englishman in New York," and "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic."

The Police frontman had a nice back-up band too - none other than the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra!

If this is an foreshadowing of how the rest of the summer will go, we're in for a good one!
