Backstage Pass: Cynthia Rowley at New York Fashion Week

Our generous friends at Cynthia Rowley invited Poison Ivy to hang backstage before Rowley's Saturday New York Fashion Week show to check out the behind-the-scenes process!

We chatted with the models (dolled up in tight buns and hole-punched skirts), caught up with Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn and Sara Gore, and then trekked it to The Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt Museum for a luncheon in honor of Rowley's own BAND-AID!
Check out our morning, soundtracked to Brandon Flowers "Crossfire," above.

Video: Kingston Surprises Gwen Stefani Onstage During L.A.M.B. Show

Gwen Stefani got a special surprise from son Kingston James following her Spring 2011 L.A.M.B. runway show Thursday night!

Stefani's show - the last of the week - recruited many celebrity guests (Russell Simmons, Blondie singer Debbie Harry, Omarion, Jimmy Iovine, Mel B, No Doubt's Tom Dumont and Tony Kanal, and Stefani's husband Gavin Rossdale), but no one made quite as strong as an impression as Stefani's son, who surprised Gwen by waltzing onto the runway during her finale walk!

Video: Betsey Johnson Collapses (on Purpose) after New York Fashion Week Show

There are few things more exhilarating than a Betsey Johnson New York Fashion Week show!

The magic really begins backstage, where the dressing quarters are decked out in rainbow balloons, rose petals, and everyone (even models!) are nibbling on Twizzlers and M&M's.

Carmen Electra, Ciara, Kristin Cavallari and Kelly Osbourne were just a few who stopped by the party Monday, which featured gorgeous, vibrant designs and culminated in Johnson cartwheeling down the runway and collapsing!

Of course we brought back video!!

Solange Knowles, Carmen Electra Sizzle at Zac Posen

Solange Knowles, Carmen Electra, Kimora Lee Simmons, Estelle, Michelle Trachtenberg, Shenae Grimes and James King were just a handful of gorgeous faces we saw at the Z Spoke by Zac Posen show Saturday night!

Vibrant reds, big-buttoned jackets and belted dresses seemed to be the general Z Spoke theme, with many backstage fashionistas (Miss J. Alexander, Jay Manuel) taking note.

"I don't know how people grow that tall," Rocco Dispirito commented to Poison Ivy after the show.

Monique Lhuillier Splashes Color on New York Fashion Week

Monday was our first time at a Monique Lhuillier show... and we were beyond pleasantly surprised!!

Along with mingling with tons of A-listers (Giada DeLaurentiis, Alexis Bledel, Emma Roberts, Brad Goreski, Perrey Reeves), we got a fabulous compliment on our outfit by Ms. Olivia Palermo, who offered to open the above video with an intro!

Lhuillier used color, color and more color in her collection, which we later gabbed with Goreski about.

"She used to use a lot of dark," he commented.

"I love that she used so much color... As I run around in a fuchsia jacket!"

Tommy Hilfiger Recruits J. Lo, The Strokes for 25th Anniversary Celebration

Poison Ivy's fascination with Americana legend Tommy Hilfiger began back in March, when we broke the story about why in the world Hilfiger decided to punch Axl Rose in 2006.

Sunday night, the love affair only grew stronger when we attended a riveting 25th anniversary runway show and epic after-party at Lincoln Center's Metropolitan Opera House!

We even got to see a performance by one of our favorite bands: The Strokes!

Check out a sizzling video recap of our night above, featuring A-Listers like Jennifer Lopez, Lenny Kravitz, Kristen Bell, Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons (flirting heavily), Anna Wintour, Bradley Cooper, Christina Hendricks, Neil Patrick-Harris, Matar Cohen, Olivia Palermo, Jessica Szohr, Ed Westwick, Rebecca Romijn, Jason Lewis, and more.

Fashion's Night Out: Video from NYC's Best Parties

Call it a spectacle, call it a shitshow, but New York's Fashion's Night Out Friday brought a hell of a party to NYC!

Kanye West was spotted causing a mobscene at Mercer Hotel, Halle Berry visited the Ralph Lauren Mansion... Even Diddy and Anna Wintour hugged it out at Macy's!

Poison Ivy started our night at Saks Fifth Avenue, where we ran into Mark Badgley and James Mischka, Hoda Kotb, Charlotte Ronson, Mark Ronson, Mick Jones, Ann Dexter-Jones, and saw an amazing performance by Daniel Merriweather!

We then hopped over to Gansevoort Plaza, where we watched Sean Lennon DJ with girlfriend Kemp Muhl, chatted with Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow at Theory, and talked to Denise Richards about her favorite skin products (Epicuren!) at the ZYNC by American Express tent.

Check out the highlights of our night, soundtracked to an instrumental B.o.B, above.
