Video: Anne Heche, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen at the Ferragamo World Launch

It's a great night to be a New Yorker!

Poison Ivy chatted with Anne Heche, Seth Meyers, John Legend and others at the Ferragamo World launch Thursday in Midtown, celebrating SF's new line of casual, earth-friendly kicks to benefit the Acumen Fund.

Heche, joined by boyfriend/Men in Trees co-star James Tupper, revealed to Poison Ivy that she's taken up singing in recent months.

"No broadways yet," the Hung star clarified, "but I've been singing for charity events mostly."

"I'd do almost anything in the name of charity," Heche laughed.

"She's really good," Tupper later told us, of his modest girlfriend.

We also caught up with supermodel Chrissy Teigen, who was fresh in the U.S. after a tropical, top-secret Sports Illustrated swimsuit shoot.

"I barely wore a swimsuit at all!" John Legend's beau revealed.

Upstairs trying on sunglasses was our pal, Gossip Girl's Matthew Settle, who seemed to have New York on the brain.

"My favorite thing about New York is [its] music," he said, citing notable jazz and blues venues. And oh yeah, the MET.

"It's an exceptional opera house," he told P.I.

Also in the crowd? Ivanka Trump, Kelsey Chow, Brad Goreski, Michael Novogratz, Massimo Ferragamo, Louise Roe, Audarshia Townsend, DJ Kiss and DJ M.O.S. on the turntables!

Jason Statham Films Safe in Murray Hill

Jersey Shore Cast Talk Spin-Offs, Dancing With the Stars, and (What Else?) GTL

In honor of their season finale Thursday, the cast of MTV's Jersey Shore hit The Wendy Williams Show in NYC to chat about spin-offs, GTL-ing, and The Situation's short-lived appearance on Dancing with the Stars.

"I don't think I did too bad a job with that last dance," The Sitch told Williams. "I think [the viewers] expected me to do bad."

WW then turned to Snooki to see if she had any non-Jersey Shore plans in the works.

"I would never do a show called Princess of Poughkeepsie," Snooki retreated. "There's no spin-off show as of now."

As for her impending Halloween costume, Snooki seemed more certain.

"[I want to be] a sexy pickle ... or Lady Gaga," she said. (Is there a difference?)

The episode closed out - fittingly - with the entire cast and audience partaking in a GTL competition: working out, getting spray-tanned and folding laundry.

I guess we all have our interests.

A Pantsuit So Nice...

...Cybill wore it twice!

Check out Cybill Shepherd sporting the same red pantsuit (and hair and watch and shoes) two years in a row - Sunday, at the "50 and Fabulous" Gala at the Pierre Hotel in New York, and in April 2009 at the "Evening With Women" event in Beverly Hills.

C definitely dropped some lbs since the first appearance - and we admire all of the great organizations she's a part of - but everyone remembers a BRIGHT RED PANTSUIT, b!

Recession or not!

Bon Jovi Shocks Crowd at Sugarland Concert

Poison Ivy trekked it to Times Square's Best Buy Theater Monday night for an American Express "Unstaged" Sugarland concert we won't be quick to forget!

Ronnie Dunn hopped onstage with the country duo for "Very Last Country Song," Little Big Town dropped by for a cover of Mumford and Sons' "Sigh No More," and Jon Bon MF Jovi recruited some of the wildest shrieks this blogger has ever heard when he appeared for a duet of "Who Says You Can't Go Home."

Elton John, Leon Russell to Perform Together at the Beacon

Music luminaries Elton John and Leon Russell will perform together live at the Beacon Theatre in New York on Tuesday, October 19, 8 p.m. EST, for a special "Fuse Presents" series to be aired live on the network.

The concert will showcase tracks from the duos new record The Union - also out Tuesday - along with classics by each artist.

You know we'll be watching!

Sneak Peek: Kyle Patrick "Who Can I Run To"

Poison Ivy visited the very talented Kyle Patrick last week at the Gibson Guitar Showroom in New York City - the set of his video for new song "Who Can I Run To."

"I feel more at home in studios than in my home," Patrick told us, hopping behind a 1968 Wurlitzer electric piano for the live shoot recording.

Patrick has no reason not to.

The 24-year-old has been fronting pop rock band The Click Five since 2007, and released his first, self-titled solo EP in May of this year. That endeavor, KP admitted, wasn't quite as planned.

"I was [recording demos] in my apartment and didn't even think of ever releasing them," he said.

It was only until some friends heard the recordings and approached Patrick that he considered making them public.

"My friends were just like 'Hey man, you should maybe think about releasing those. I think people would like to hear them.'"

Hell yes we would!

The final product was a six-track, pay-what-you-want extended play, featuring unforgettable tracks like "Another Life" and "Don't Think Twice," which soundtracks the above vid.

But Patrick hasn't slowed down since the release of his disc. He's been touring the country playing three shows a week, and writing even more tunes in his BK apartment - the latest being "Who Can I Run To."

"[The song] speaks for my whole life," Patrick explains.

"Recently... I've been making very hard decisions... [And] there's usually one person that you think about in those situations, one person that you run to."

We'll be posting a video of our full, in-depth interview with KP in the next few days (check back to find out how he feels about being compared to Jeff Buckley and what almost led him to quitting music), but for now, check out this exclusive sneak peek of the singer-songwriter's new video for the haunting, fiercely melodic "Who Can I Run To."
