At the Z100 After-Party with Jesse McCartney and Jay Sean

Poison Ivy had a hell of a time at the Z100 Jingle Ball, but perhaps even more exciting was the after-party at B.B. King featuring performances by Jay Sean and Jesse McCartney!

Check out a blip of Sean's performance above (short because we weren't allowed to use video) and a few photos of us at the after-after-party with McCartney (with friends at SL, and DJ Phresh at 1Oak), below.

Taio Cruz to Cover John Lennon's "Imagine" Live on New Year's Eve

Taio Cruz will be making history this December as the first artist to perform John Lennon's "Imagine" live during the New Year's Eve ceremony in Times Square, the R&B singer revealed during a NIVEA press conference in Times Square Friday.

"Imagine" is generally played over the loudspeaker minutes before the clock strikes 12, but on December 31, Cruz will be the first artist ever to cover it live!

"I tried not to mess with it too much because it's such a classic song and so many people love it," Cruz told Poison Ivy, of the recording, which will hit iTunes on New Year's Day, with proceeds benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters.

"I didn't want to make a dance version or a crazy uptempo remix-sounding thing that people would absolutely kill me for," Cruz added.

"I've kept it quite organic. It's got live piano, at present it's got live strings... I haven't finished mixing it yet."

"Yesterday I felt cool. Today I'm feeling the pressure cause I didn't know that it had never ever been performed live," Cruz said, of his nerves before performing in front of one million people in Times Square and almost one billion internationally.

"It's slightly daunting."

"This is my first New Years in New York," Cruz added.

"Last New Year's I was cuddling my girlfriend. I'm not with her now. That sucks."

Giuliana and Bill Rancic will also be spearheading some of the NIVEA NYE festivities, said Ellen Finn, Director of Media for NIVEA'S parent company Beiersdorf, Inc.

Anna Wintour Chokes Up While Honoring Marc Jacobs

Anna Wintour got visibly choked up while presenting the Trophée des Arts award to her friend, designer Marc Jacobs, at the French Institute-Alliance Francaise's gala at the Plaza Hotel Thursday night.

"At the end of [a meeting] with Marc, I feel totally outclassed, out of touch and certainly completely out of shape, but also at the same time, absolutely and wonderfully exhilarated because Marc is someone who makes you want to rush out and do things," the notoriously stoic Vogue editor-in-chief told the audience, her voice quivering.

"I urge you to think about a trip to China," Wintour also heeded to Jacobs.

"I've just come back from Shanghai and Beijing, and everywhere I went... I heard the same thing: 'Ms. Wintour, do you know Marc Jacobs? Could you possibly get me Marc Jacobs autograph? His signed photograph? Please ask Marc Jacobs to come here and to collaborate with the Chinese artists.' So Marc, on behalf on 1.3 billion Chinese, consider yourself invited. And knowing you, you'll come back speaking fluent Mandarin and with a few Tai chi moves under your belt."

Also awarded at the ceremony was CEO of Total Christophe de Margerie, while guests like Alexa Chung and Rachel Feinstein watched on.

Check out Wintour's emotional speech, above.

Real Housewives Film at Sony Opening

It's a great night to be a New Yorker!

Real Housewives of New York cast members Alex McCord, Simon van Kempen, Jill Zarin, Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer took over Willoughby's on Fifth Avenue Thursday night to celebrate the opening of the store's Sony boutique, and film a hilarious, champagne-fueled episode soundtracked by none other than Brad Walsh!

Nigel Barker was also in the house, celebrating his first book Nigel Barker's Beauty Equation: Revealing a Better and More Beautiful You, while folks like Marty Markowitz trolled the room.

Can't wait to watch this ep!
