Lady Gaga Shocks New York with Surprise Set

Lady Gaga shocked a handful of lucky New Yorkers Wednesday night when she jumped onstage with jazz musician Brian Newman at the Plaza Hotel's Oak Room for an impromptu performance of "Someone to Watch Over Me" and "Orange Colored Sky."

"People were actually very into it; they were very calm and collected and starstruck at the same time," attendee Ashley Rosner told MTV.

"It was an excited crowd, but a reserved crowd. They wanted to respect her."
